The Working Group on Gender (WGG), which meets about every other month, represents an interdisciplinary network of service providers and researchers from the New York Metropolitan Area, whose work focuses on children, adolescents, and/or adults with gender dysphoria or somatic intersexuality. Presentation topics have included "Update on Proposed Gender Diagnoses of the ICD-11", "Transforming Transgender Health Care in Mainstream Medical Institutions", "Conducting Transgender Health Research in Clinic Settings", "Transcare in the VA System", and "Gender Dysphoria and Autism Spectrum."
Unless otherwise noted, events are open to the public and take place at the New York State Psychiatic Institute (NYSPI, 1051 Riverside Drive, NYC), Room 6601, from 9:30-11:30am.
