Renato is the coordinator of our program. He is also the project director of Convoy Q, a research study on social support, mental health, and successful aging in LGBTQ+ people.

Renato has extensive experience implementing and managing LGBTQ health and research programs in underserved New York City neighborhoods. His expertise includes development of cultural competency modules and training curricula.

Renato has presented at national and international conferences including The International Conference on AIDS and The National Transgender Health Summit. He was the recipient of the 2013 George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services Geiger Gibson Emerging Leader award.
